Default Re: Scalia on arts funding and the thin line between porn and art...

Not only the First Ammendment issues, but whatever happened to that little "restraint of trade" thing? Why doesn't that pop up more?

I had a lively discussion with my husband regarding that National "No Call" list that allegedly existed to prevent people from telephone soliciting. I called it "restraint of trade." He called it something else entirely. I said I had absolutely NO sympathy for those lemmings that can't ignore a ringing phone during the dinner hour or let the machine screen the calls.

Frankly, I have a similiar attitude toward spam. I may bitch, but it was *my* choice to keep my personal email in Outlook, which causes me to have to hit that nice big red "X" to get rid of spam. My work email comes through Thunderbird, which is trained to delete the spam.
