Not to piss on your parade or anything, but i dont think this is an unusual sentiment. When i am in Europe, i do everything i can to hide the fact that i am American. Americans act generally tend to act like obnoxious fucking retards everywhere they go. But you know what? The average Brit is just as bad in my opinion. Loud, rude, drunk and obnoxious. Anywhere in Europe, when you hear someone being an idiot or hear someones voice standing out in the crowd, he is either American or British.

Every country has good and bad, ups and downs, pluses and minuses. No country is different in this respect. The primary differences that people like to espouse between countries are usually just the perceptions... not the realities.

Brits tends to be louts , and holligans...well it is there perception.

is Nagin an idiot? uhmmm... does it matter? if people choose to risk thier lives trying go home, thats their problem. Since when did a mayor become the city babysitter? Its not like no one is aware that its a fucked up and risky situation and they are going to be totally blindsided by the fact that a hurricane hit the city.

Funny when the same people constantly crying and whining about the powers that be and Bush, government and its increasing powers and so on - can't wait to bitch that government is not doing all it can to protect them and intervene in their lives and tell them when to jump. I dont need the government to protect me. I dont live in Sweden or Denmark. All i need is information and I can make my own decisions from there... thank you very much!
