Sounds like you had a great time.
Back in the early 90's, I worked for a company that was a Nascar sponsor I pulled a 40'...3 axle trailer with the companies show car. It was the exact same thing as the cars on the track. I took it all over Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahome. I would park the trailer at the far end of Walmart's parking lot and drive the race car to the front of the store to show, and for people to take pictures. That was one loud car. It got peoples attention and they were drawn to it like flys on honey. I wore the pit crews pants, shirt (with all the sponors decals) and cap. The trailer was a billboard on sex wheels. I even had people want to take pictures with me and some even asked me for my autograph. I did that for two year..The company was Thorn Apple Valley. The #98 car and the driver was Greg Sacks. |

Man...At that moment in time I felt like a celebrity... In a couple of occasions I had guys ask me if their girlfriend could sit on my lap a take a picture with me and the race car. Sorry, TE...I did not mean to take the thunder away from your thread. It just brought back some good memories. Hope you have the opportunityto hang out with your bud again during another one of his races. Looks like your bud cleaned up pretty good!
