Quicker answer regarding processors

[RyanLanane]

Was planning on using more from my old system... But hell I'm pretty much buying everything brand new but the two 512 meg sticks of DDRAM... HEre is what I'm going with

http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=P4M80-M7 - Cheap mother board, considering going with this one instead but I'm not sure if I want to run RAID drives.. although I do plan on running a 3 hard drive system... Here is the other baord I am considering http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?inv...GD2-DT&cat=MBB

Only down side is I have never hooke dup RAID drives so I want to do some reading up into it before I hook up two of my 3 drives in a RAID setup and the third as a backup essentially.. I actually wanted the extra space for when TIVO goes live with the wireless tramsittal of everything over to your computer's hard drive...

If I go with the cheap mother board only $600 for everything all said and done... Would pry cost you $1,000 to buy ne just like it ... Not sure as I haven't priced 'em out but I haven't built a computer in a couple years figured it woudl be fun...
