Jesus was raised Jewish.
Every traditional duty of the parent was done , trade etc etc , except according to the gospels...marrying him off. Remember a committee incl a Roman Emperor picked what would be included. Also the reason why Priests do not marry is not some high moral ground. It was to prevent Church property etc being made inheritable assets. |
