I've read some interviews with college players on the subject. A lot of these guys are from the ghetto, of course. They've had nothing to celebrate their whole life. Sports is the first thing they've ever been recognized for.

What's the problem anyway? That the losers might get their feelings hurt?

most people love to talk about "ghetto-isation" of the game, etc.
what they are saying is "we are tired of seeing black guys have all the glory on the field"

I want to see more celebrations and hey, how about an onfield shivving?

in between family friendly things like commercials for 4 hour erections and beer commercials...
