6 weeks is a VERY long time in politics, and I think Kerry is beginning to understand that he needs to show leadership - his anti-terror plan might be a turning point for him, so he will head towards the center again...
Bush have plenty of time to fuck something up, and if terrorists are following the election, then they could push the voters both ways (depending on the outcome of their terrorist act ofcourse). Kerry should focus more on the solutions, than on the blame - that could win alot of the center votes.
