Guinness Book of World Records says 2.5 billion copies of the Bible have been distributed since 1815 with 54 million copies last year... do not have any numbers on how many Qurans was printed last year, but I´m guessing its close to the number of Bibles or less...
However the "Ikea 2004 Catalogue" was printed and distributed in 130 million copies this year... making it the most widely distributed book in 2004. Consumption is growing faster than religion
