The promise is there.
And from what I see around the net, you haven't been very good at taking suggestions on anything. So much wasted wisdom thrown at you and you still go forth blindly, slamming into walls and digging chasms for yourself.
The adult webmaster community is not as big as you seem to think it is. You make your reputation and you live with it.
If you do some research, you might be able to see what is in store for you if you maintain your present course of action. Those that ignore the past and the lessons to be found there are doomed to repeat the mistakes of those before them.
