the key words are: "Marvel has approximately 115 million fully-diluted shares outstanding and has an approximate public float of 85 million shares. " they are buying over the next 18 months, just less than 5% of shares outstanding, and even though it provides some floor under the stock and puts marginal preassure on short salers, it's not a biggie which would warrant to jump into the market and buy it now.
