Serge, more money spent overseas for war means less money spent on Canadian beer and lumber. 100,000+ soliders NOT home drinking... that is a serious dent in the economy!
Mike, don't laugh too hard - most of the "american" team that won are Canadians and Europeans. So we won anyway, doesn't matter WHERE the team actually plays. :-) Alex
