Mike, this sort of thing happens every few years.
There have been more on-ice fights this year for some reason. But if you look at NHL hockey in the 1950s, it was just as violent and usually even bloodier. It's just unfortunate that Moore landed on his head the way he did. I hear this morning that he will make a full recovery though. Good news.
