I believe in pro-choice and I believe there are times when abortion is the only answer; however it’s a delicate matter. On one hand I think a woman should have a baby and if she didn’t want it give it up for adoption but I know that any route she chooses it’s a difficult choice. Then I think about all the kids out there that aren’t adopted and then you look at people who adopt with ill-intent.
Here’s what I think…
When a girl comes to age where she can get pregnant she if taken to the doctor and a birth control implant is put in her. No exceptions. Once she feels she is ready to conceive she goes through a series of interviews and a few workshops, maybe volunteers at a child care facility. After some real thought the implant is removed. I think this would curtail many problems and there’s no issue of abortion, welfare abuse, etc.
