I have lived in the city, in the burbs and in the country. Most of the time in the burbs. And I came within seconds of living right outside NYC.
Living in the country wins hands down, especially where I am now. I can get to any restaurant, major sporting event, play, movie, and the Atlanta Airport in less than an hour and a half. Considering that's just a tad over what used to be my daily drive each way to work, I prefer to just do it every week or so. There's no such thing as rush hour traffic, everyone's friendly, you don't have to lock your doors, and you don't have to close your blinds. If I could just get rid of the mice in my car, I'd be 100% content. h34r:
