These kids are actually what they are on the list as. Having adopted at least one kid every year for PC's kids, I can vouch for them. Every year but last year, we've had a local family and things are quite in order.
I'd suggest that if you don't want to give, don't give, no one is expecting it, for sure, but don't talk about something you don't know about.
