Last time I was in NOLA I saw EYEHATEGOD and HIGH ON FIRE at the Shim Sham on Halloween, it was a skeleton party. People were swing dancing to punk rock dressed as skeletons and ghouls.
The door guy Fritz is a bud of mine. Those bars all change soooo much. Since college ive watched them change names and owners more than a fucking hollywood whore. my old time favorite bar in NOLA was J & Ks on the westbank, General Myers, till my boys got shot in a drive by there. good times though.
