I don't go back as far in NO as you two but ......
razoo has drunken karaoke again or had at least the past few times I've been down - no more bands Shim Sham club closed down a few months ago - nothing like a bar that had 80's nights, burlesque nights and the only 2 beers on tap .... Pabst Blue Ribbon and Guinness - I've crawled um walked out of there a few times when the sun was coming up. Nothing like the stench of the Quarter at 7 AM I'm a part time tourist with local status so I can go to the Original Dungeon The bars in Pirates Alley have changed owners/names so many times I can't remember Sin City was cool, was still ok when the name changed to Babylon but now it's the Morgue and different bartenders/owner - no when near as cool - first place I ever heard "Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies"
