I can identify with the leaves...
When I lived in Pennsylvania I used a leaf blower to get the leaves onto a 20 by 30 tarp. Then I dragged them into the woods. Over... and over... and over... and over.... My two maple trees have been keeping me busy lately, but the Bradford Pears haven't even started yet. And they will make one hell of a mess... Lucky for me I just blow them out into the lawn and I mulch them. It takes a while before they disappear, but it's good for the lawn.
