Interesting...

Thanks for the info Giuseppe. No manual for me then... I like Precor and Life Fitness, so I'll probably go that route. Any special model you like best? The other day I saw a treadmill with a five horse motor. (insert Tim Allen grunt)

You've fallen into that marketing trap ! That 5 hp motor is a peak duty , it means shit ! the deparment store will advertise that ! but when you look at the specs properly you will see that the 5.1 hp only has a continous rating of 1.5 or 2 hp ! If the guy at Sears fails to mention that fact to you, when you walk into a specialty store and they try to sell you a Precor at 3 times the price you just saw that 5.1hp (tim allan grunt!) And he tells you the precor only has a 2.75 hp ! It's gonna make you wonder !

I'm a gadget kinda guy and the Precor 9.35 has ever button you can think of ! Touch sensitive buttons , direct numeric speed and incline imput , fitness test , Heart rate control programs and so much more ! The 9.33 and the 9.31 are just as Good but much simpler ! The features just depends on wghat you like ! One will not make you fitter than the other !
