King could keep away from actively publishing new works about as well as Art Bell could stay off of the air or Michael Jordan could stay off of the courts.
 I used to be a huge King fan, but he lost me with the one with the UFO buried in the backyard and the woman's pubic hair turning green and leafy. I can't remember which one that was ("It"?) but at that point it seemed to me like he was grasping far too much for new material and needed to take a serious breather. I loved his children's book though ("Eyes of the Dragon"), I wish he'd do more of those.
