"Freedom Fries"? I think the whole anti-French thing is just kinda silly and won't last long. There is precedent though. Many of you might remember being told this story as a kid. During World War I, Americans took to calling sauerkraut "liberty cabbage".
There was more. Many cities stopped teaching the German language, changed German street names, and a host of other *ahem* nutty things. I bet Congress will change the signs back pretty quickly.
