Asp.net Vs. Php

[EricP]

That's okay Mike.

I may not be an 'Old School' Programmer....but I am staying one step ahead of the game.

I have talked to some BRILLIANT programers, the staff at DirectNIC, and not one person pushed microsoft.

Um, maybe becuase they have always used C/PHP programmers?
Maybe becuase they do not run Windows Servers?

I also think this is because you are not familiar with other options out side of Microsoft...

Mike, I use PHP and MySQL a lot (Have I not built some solid PHP/MySQL Web Apps?)....but when it comes to Windows Programming it would be stupid to use any other option than .NET. Tie your Windows app to your Web App and you have a solid solution.

I also think this is because you are not familiar with other options out side of Microsoft...

I can also say that every C/PHP programmer is not familiar with .NET.

It's easy to say isn't it?
