While alot of other boards get huge amounts of posts per day because of pissing, etc. Should oprano go back to the old days? Mind you oprano is about business and not pissing, a little piss always warms the heart!

Serge what is your opinion on this?

Dig/Everyone else
etc.

We have arguments, but we don't send C&D's and most of them have substance and logic

And I don't want to have to worry about sifting through the posts here to find the gold - GFY has some good threads/posts, but geeze - it's SUCH an effort sometimes to get to the good stuff

I agree with you Peaches.

Plus there are no more heavy weight champions who want to come around and piss. Everyone is too scared, especially to piss on Oprano - especially against Serge.

Personally, I would love to see more of Brad here, or someone like that ( there are not many left) but they are too chicken - or too wise? I dunno...

But pissing is only fun to partake in, or fun to watch when its between heavy weights, and skilled pissers....

That is just my opinion.

from my pissing expereince, and I _think_ I have _some_ knowledge on the subject,
I say..it's a passe....

if you notice, the most often post symbol I use is...LOVE

back in a day, piss was essential, but back in a day lots of things woirk that do not work today.

we added 54 new members today NOT because we piss with Netpond, but because we cooperate and work together on the same goals.

I don't see how sponsors can benefit from me telling Brad Shaw what ascumbag he is and he telling me how fat my wife is.

This is MY opinion,
I can be wrong,
and if I go from time to time to GFY and piss on some newbs,
I do it for recreational purposes and not business

The difference between piss and animated discussion usually hovers around the "insult factor" - Oprano has been very good at keeping things on a somewhat even keel by not poking PEOPLE too hard, just their ideas.

In the end, it's the ideas that matter. :-)

Mabey being sick today, I need some excitement in my life!!

wtg on the new members today serge and mike.

What do you guys think about 1 day a week having sponsors give away prizes for some kind of a contest or something??

Pissing is fine, if there is a reason, but when pissing is the puls of the board, then I stay away from them (ex. GFY is a very negativ place, it attracts all the wannabes, haters, and loudmouths (if you are a daily user of GFY, then please do not take it personally )... wouldn´t think I could get much business or work done there, so I stay away).

If there is something to be pissed about, then by all means piss away, but please keep the unrelated piss at GFY or similar boards...

It could be very interesting making some demographics on the average oprano poster/lurker and the average gfy poster/lurker... my guess is that those numbers will explain the difference in board mentality.

Pissing certainly had its time and place back in the day. Many of us, including me, got known for it.

But people change, I've seen a few snide remarks here and there on this board, but it certainly didn't come up to the level of the old Ynot and Netpond days, and it's just as well.

It may have drawn people to the boards, but I think that most of us have matured and changed the way we do business on these boards.

Also, many people didn't show it, but some of those pisses really wounded the participants.

The playful pissing done on this board now is much more positive and a well-written, witty post is worth more in the long run. You can stand up for what you believe in without having to be called ugly names.

I know that I, for one, am glad to see it gone. It was getting a little old being told over and over again that I was a fat c-nt..whether it was true or not, it still wasn't any fun.

I left the boards for a long time partly because of the anons over at the old Netpond attacking me every time I opened my mouth. That wasn't good for my business and I doubt it was for anyone else's either.

I love to see if I can win a battle of wits with someone, but when it gets personal and nasty, it's non-productive.

I've seen a lot of new people come over here in the short time I've been here. There isn't any pissing going on and yet here they are.

Seems to me that that proves that people are coming here to escape pointless personal attacks and mindless ass-kissing that goes on on other boards.

I've been to GFY and have had to think twice several times before posting on a thread for fear of being attacked by people who don't even know who I am. Also, that board seems to be extremely sexist. Women seem to be able to post here without constant harrassment of one form or another (except of course for Serge and his ass posts, lol).

I would probably leave if the old-style pissing matches became the norm on this board. So maybe there are less page views, but I definitely learn more here than at any other board.

Neither sickly-sweet nor openly hostile..that's the way to run a board that will get the intelligent webmaster's attention.

i miss the piss but it's not what Oprano is about. i enjoy watching some of the piss on GFY, i don't care if it's just two idiots who don't have a pot to piss in, or two big boys, i just like seeing people skillz and the drama of it all. The piss on GFY almost always involves somebody getting screwed over for an amount of money usually under $1,000. I think most people on Oprano pay their bills.

Ya know, when I came back here (I posted here for a short time a while back) I excpected more piss. I kinda miss all of the shit about Farell, Luke Ford, Confucy, etc. I cannot say I totally understood what was going on, but it was interesting to read, in that sense I miss it. On the other hand, it took alot of time to read it, so that is why I left. I still have to make that 1st million, after that I can read all day, so in that sense I don't miss it. I guess I just have mixed feelings

I think it depends on how you piss. On boards like GFY people
piss while sucking their thumb and picking their nose. This technique
of pissing is called RAP- Rectinal Anal Pissing. Young infants are
affected by RAP until they reach a age where getting a grip around
your penis and not pissing on yourself make's sense.

There's the same amount of piss on Oprano, perhaps the reason
it's not as noticable is the fact that by large it's a smarter more
mature crowd.

Here's an example:

In a bus station restroom a Marine and Sailor were having a piss.
The Marine finished, shook three time's zipped up and started to
to leave when the Sailor said hey buddy; In the Navy they teach
us to wash our hands after we piss...

The Marine shrugged and said hey skirt in the Marine's they teach
you not to piss your hands.
