Is it time to make the move to 3d?

Not only has HD become the standard acquisition format nowadays, but clients now even know the difference between HDV and the higher end full raster HD cameras. Even if one releases a movie on a standard definition DVD it will look much better if it was shot in HD. Anyone still shooting in SD now is foolish that great HDV or HD cameras are so inexpensive.

anyone that has been shooting 4 by 3 in the last ten years missed the boat. I shoot a lot of porn, but I don't have clients, so I only have my instincts to guide me. Still not 100% about 3D, but I am curious what will be launched after NAB. I am just not kicking it to the curb.
You know what they are going to call HD in a couple of years?
