In this economy I think a lot of consumers are skeptical about the quality they might get from a paysite. And lets face it we all are deeply pondering any addition ofa new monthly bill. I think selling the clips as non recurring trial as well as promoting the membership is a win win solution. Im pretty sure guys like GreeenGuy and Tommy will tell you that the loyal users of a free site tend to trust your recommendations.
