Duuuuude ... thanks for the word and link about the VLC media player! Just installed it and it is great so far.

I was having some problems with some mp4 and mov conversions not playing correctly in my Quicktime player. I thought the conversions were being munged. I was about to start ripping down all of the files from my clipstores I had posted in those formats. I remembered your post about the VLC and thought I would try to play the files in that player ... they worked just fine. I am assuming now, that something has gone wrong with my Quicktime. Now I don't need it though. You just saved me from a lot of time backtracking. Thanks again!
