Domain sales and estimates

How do you estimate the value of a domain? And if you find a buyer which 3rd party service do you use? I have a bidding war between 2 guys for one of my secondary domains. It was never even advertised for sale but now the numbers are getting high enough that Id let it go. I mean really 50K for a domain name.... Anyone else thats had experience with name sales is welcome to chime in.
