Join Date: Oct 2002 Posts: 8,781	Just to note that while the marriage amendments failed over 2/3 of the public supported either full marriage or civil unions. The mistake the gay community made was going for marriage wholesale right offthe bat. They should have pushed for civil unions, which have a comfortable majority of support, rather than full marriage.
