Alex, I would say that a decisive victory for one candidate or the other would be better than a repeat of 2000.
With that said, I would agree with Mike that Bush would probably be better received by the capital markets than Kerry.
Mike, futures are just leverage. They are scary because most ppl cannot manage that leverage.
Aside from that, they go up and down like anything else.
