Things I learned with no power for 40 hours

I bought a few of the Coleman electric fluorescent camping lanterns. They run for 24 hours on 8 D batteries and I don't have to worry about becoming a flaming pornographer if I knocked one over.

When I grow up and become rich I'm getting a generator that will power my A/C, fridge, hot water heater, TV, and a hair dryer for at least a few days.

Sitting in the dark with no TV or internet really blows and if the heat wasn't bad enough the boredom will; just about kill you but the cold shower and wet hair is pure torture.

Having lots of really good weed and munches really helps.

On side note I've decided it would be a food idea to have all my trees trimmed way back when I finally actually do manage to get a tree company to actually somehow one day to actually show up at my door or maybe at least return one fucking phone call.
