All boards need to have their own identity and GFY and Oprano are quite the opposite in theirs.
I come here for more serious discussion and on GFY I get to let loose and let out my inner high school smart ass. Not sure why they get attacked more but could be due to some people over there having a thin skin and not being able to deal with it. Hell, I (alledgedly) had someone from that board call Child Protective Services on me (he only posts there because he's been banned from everywhere else and he's a known scammer (and not even a very good one at that...he's a very small nickle and dime scammer)).
