If my ass puckered over anything yesterday, it was in anticipation of listening to tripe like this.

The capture of Saddam is a good thing ... I don't know of any American who would think differently. IMHO - and I freely admit I could be wrong - it will do little or nothing to change the long-term tactical picture. Beyond the challenges of the unrepentant Batthists come even greater challenges of Islamic fundamentalism and ethnic clashes.

As far as "Democrats wanting us to get hammered in Iraq" - if you are insinuating that Democrats are hoping Americans die in Iraq so that a Democrat can get elected President, you need to bend over, take your copy of Ann Coulter's latest book, and cram it up your ass sideways.
