Voodooman, you lived out here in LA. I can't walk on the beach after dark because it isn't safe. I live in a fairly upscale community, but a good friend was attacked by two gun carrying lowlife gang members on the beach near MDR. This guy is the size of Arnold. He works out at Gold's gym. His size and his strong body were of no help to him when facing two punks with guns. They stole his money, and beat him up. Thank God they didn't use those guns. He didn't fight back because he didn't want to be shot.
If there were absolutely no guns, I would feel free to take my nightly runs on the beach. I would feel safe going into Hollywood and downtown LA at any time of the day.
I'm not being an idealist. I just want to live in a safe world. I don't want to have to take my shoes off at airports or have to undress for body searches because I fit some kind of profile. I want a little love in this world. Take the damn guns and weapons of mass destruction, and stop the madness!
