CJ - if a team is +5 you add 5 points to their score
Example - this past week Baltimore was getting 5.5 points against Pittsburgh (line showed Baltimore +5.5 or Pittsburgh -5.5) Final score was Pittsburgh 34 Baltimore 15 Add 5.5 to Baltimore final score and you have Pittsburgh 34 Baltimore 20.5 so Pittsburgh still won against the line (or covered the spread) If you chose Pittsburgh you won, you lost if you had Baltimore
