Liberals make fun of the south and the heartland, conservatives never miss a chance to take a poke at either coast, dog bites postman ... only Rush could make a story out of that.

The liberal disdain for the south and midwest is there, but it's more an attitude than a political strategy. I doubt the same can be said for the tendency for some conservatives to play the urban card. I see a great deal of that here in the boondocks, and Ashcroft was very good at playing it during his Missouri political carrer.

Of course, I'm sure they only do it because the urban areas are full of liberals.

Using the PornoDoggy Unscientific System I have evaluated the level of bias of CNN - they have to be the most unbiased.

Both Mike AI and RawAlex are equally strident about how biased they are, thus cancelling each other out.
