The internet is becoming the world's largest flea market? Maybe
Disappointing - definitely With the opportunity to accelerate the information age the path of least resistance and it's close cousin the lowest common denominator rear their ugly heads The irony being that most (early) internet users are educated and have above average incomes Is the flea market appearance and attitude due to the low barrier to entry for businesses or does Ebay (yes you too can buy everyone's junk - welcome to the world's largest garage sale) and a sluggish American economy contribute? All the above and some other? Tacky should be John Waters, Pink Flamingos and Black Velvet Elvis - not the internet I too get 3+ spams a day for mini race cars - now if I can only get a good deal on Thomas the Tank engine stuff
