The gallons of booze and late, late hours will age people like no one's business. I know my greys have increased an awful lot since I started in the business, and Rhet, you have a point about time frames.
Though I will note that the internet, as a whole, would have a hard time with "veterans," as there hasn't really been a GUI long enough to create them. I'd have to say that if there is a veteran, it's Joel Tucker.
