Tubes now blamed for fall of adult dvd rentals

“Due to all of the free porn on the Internet, no one is paying for [DVDs],” Flynt said. “This is the biggest problem our industry is facing.”

Dear LA self proclaimed porn royalty - you cling to dvd sales like its the holy grail of revenue. You hold back VOD releases 3 weeks in hopes to push up DVD sales.

I submit to you that you kill your own revenue by clinging to a dead distribution model. Your treasured DVDs are on the torrent sites within hours of street release.

Illegal tubes contribute to the loss of revenue but I submit that the problem with loss in sales lies with YOU!

All of us would do better by reconnecting with the consumer to realize how to better serve their needs and stimulate sales. Too many companies are in a rush to get things rolling and hire people thaty have never paid to by porn to jerk off.

Know your customer.
Its what I try to do better daily.
