Saying he hasn't done anything wrong here yet doesn't make sense. His reputation preceeds him.
If someone raped a friend's sister, would you let him come over to your house and tell people, "he hasn't done anything wrong here yet"? Or would you realize that eventually he would rape your sister too? The above paragraph is meant as a metaphor of course, since I don't even know if you have a sister.
