Yeah, well, fuck you BOTH.

When I was in my 9th year in the Navy I saw the Who at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego.

John Cougar opend.

Loverboy followed.

High School ... gawdamned UTES, I tell you ...

Doggy,

Hmmmmm.

9th year in the Navy vs years that The Who toured the USA.

John Cougar stopped being John Cougar in the mid 80's (then John Cougar Mellencamp, then John Mellencamp, now nobody), and he was an opening act when you were there, I am sure (i.e. don't quote me) his first hit album with "Jack & Dianne" etc (thereby making him a headliner) was like 1981? ......

Loverboy was an afterthought... but as international stars they rose, peaked and died in the normal 80's fashion - about 7 minutes in the early 80's ('82 their peak?).....

Hmmmmm.

The concert, by my reckoning, must have been 1980/81, you say joined the Navy at 16/17 and had been in 9 years, so you must joined in like 71/72 and that would mean you would have been born around 55/56.

After working out the algorithm and doing the math I am figuring you are closer to 50 than 40.

And I have WAAAYYY to much time on my hands this afternoon.
