Serge wouldn't have made it to Boomsteeg because it's not on the "We Love Taking U.S. Dollars From Ignorant Americans" tour of Amsterdam.

He sees the Rijksmuseum, Leidseplein and Vondel Park and suddenly he's an Amsterdam expert. Very sad.

I have this disturbing visual in my head of Serge on a touristy canal boat tour with an expensive digital camera slung around his neck while wearing tasteless label clothes that scream "I'm an American. Please despise me." ++++++++++++++++++++++
