The first thing I suspect when a third party comes to solicit donations for another party is the first party is doing it for EGO!
They want to be patted on the back for being so caring, so understanding, do willing to help a friend out, etc... In essence they are making public posts to benefit themselves. ( especially if they are well known sig whores)
