okay to the resscue- to Greenwich ( I live in the area) there is a tube line - Jubilee Line - BUT that isn't what you want for the Cutty Sark. The tube line takes you to the Dome, which isn't open now and it more in the Charlton area.
HOWEVER, if you do want to go to the Cutty Sark and all in the actual hub of Greenwich it couldn't be easier these days. You go on the DLR (docklands light railway) and there is an actual Cutty Sark stop whiere you litteraly go right up the stairs and the Cutty Sark is right there. The Royal Observetry (where the prime meridian stuff is) is up the hill through a normally beautiful park. Hang on, I wrote something for a website once about Greenwich..let me see if I can get it. Here read this: http://www.bootsnall.com/europetravelguide...p02london.shtml Also, don't just get a tube card. Get a travel card which allows you to use all the busses, trains, dlr and the tube with just the one card. I don't know how many days you are planning on being here but if you buy it daily it is just under £5 a day and it a real bargin as one bus trip is £1 these days (just recently changed to that) Also, this is a crappy little web page I do but some people have said it helped - http://london-travel-tips.com/ Any questions, just ask.
