The advice was that she was submissively peeing. My towering over her - just by standing - was causing her to submit to me by peeing.
What I do now when I come home is open the door and get down on one knee a few feet from her so she comes to me. I don't get excited or raise my voice. I don't pet her on the head (submission) but rather hold out my hand and let her lick it. I also stopped scolding her for peeing. Within just a few days of starting this she stopped.
