Seriously though the "net" is the number to be interested in.

I reckon there are maybe 10 playas netting 5m a yr
Another 30 netting 1m plus.
Maybe 200 netting 500k.

With regd to major tgp/link list operators...they ,like everyone else,have ventured into other areas.I bet "so and so's Bookmarks" represents a minority of so and so's income now.

ie In 1997 I was purely a freesite operator doing the AVS trick and blinding the living shit out surfers
By 1998 se's were rocking
1999 added some freehosts in order to add some water to Serge's soup ;-))
Built some paysites.
2000 brokered traffic.

I think the day of being just a paysite owner or freesite owner has gone.

Now we have to be Jacks of all trades.
