High speed wireless internet

[Hooper]

Hey Sharky,

I've been using the sprint cdma card for about 8 months now (i guess i'm an early adopter).

In Austin it's pretty slow. I'm in Boston now on it and would say it's about as fast as an aol 56k dialup. Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Atlanta, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Florida, New York, Los Angeles.. I've used it pretty much everywhere you can imagine and overall it's 100% worth it (i think i pay 80 bucks a month) just because the ability to turn on your computer when you have a layover, are in a hotel with fucked phone lines, dont need dialup anymore, are sitting on the plan waiting for takeoff, are on the road and need directions real quick, etc..etc..etc..

Overall: I give it a B-

They advertise 128kbs speeds and never have i seen better than half that. Surf with images and flash turned off and it's quite tolerable. IM works wondefully too.

BTW.. totall off topic, but i just started on a 1970 Chateau Latour... and thus far it is fuckin amazing. Will report back again later ;-)
