What can I say - Granddad wanted fried chicked and fried okra in the middle of summer, and I wasn't cooking it. After the little fiasco at Po Folks, we did NOT go back again with him.
They're great for pic-a-nic food, which is the only time I've had anything from there in years.
My father, OTOH, goes there about once a month to get fried liver because not only will none of us cook it for him, we won't even allow it to be cooked in our homes.
I was sitting RIGHT NEXT TO HP - how far away from you guys did you think I was??!
I was close enough to hear about all the swinger clubs in Atlanta - oy.
And no, I didn't have any of the chocolate tank because I was too busy stealing bites of cheesecake from Vooman.
