Do you think this is a ghost or a stlaker?

Hello. My name is Julie Devjak, I live in Perth Western Australia and I am of sound mind, although most people that I know and have told this story too think I am not.

My family have had a history of being in touch with the other side, especially my father who is very suseptible to seeing and feeling any qhostly appartition that may be near by. I feel I have inherited this as I have a story to tell you all.

Recently we have been travelling around Australia and have stopped for a short while here in Perth Western Australia. My husband and I met a couple at a beautiful resort destination on the western australian coast on our way down to Perth. They had this house to rent which we are presently renting, the number of the house is 11, which we call our lucky number as our childrens birthdates ad up to this, our properties ad up to this number, my mothers and my sisters house numbers ad to this and it is uncanny how mnay times this number comes up all the time. Needless to say we are now renting number 11.

Our first night in the house was quite exciting, we were in a new place, a new state and a really nice home. That evening I could not sleep and the outside lights shone into the bedroom across the half closed door, as I peered into the darkness I saw something cross the doorway. I blinked and then I saw someone or something standing in the corner of the room. At closer inspection the apparition disappeared in front of my eyes. I told my husband, he just shrugged and said it was probably a dream. The next evening my husband asked me what was I doing walking around the house in the early hours of the morning, I said I was not, he told me he had seen a women who looked like my appearance near the door and then in the corner of the room. My husband is a sceptic and does not believe in ghosts, although over the years my family and myself have had a few eerie experiences and I think he is beginning to believe there is life after death.

A few nights later I kept having these terrible nightmares and waking up screaming. A figure (not sure if it was a man or woman) was standing over the top of me staring at me, about 30 cm (12 inches) from my face. This happened at least 3 times, the last episode happening about one month ago. I often wake up at a certain time every night and see faces when I open my eyes to the darkness, at first I was scared, but I have learnt to live with the ghost or ghosts and they with us. I befriended a lady across the road from this house and when she came in to visit, she said there is someone else living in this house apart from yourselves (she did not know anything about the above before she came into the place. I told her what had happened and she said she can rid the house of the ghosts, but I said no. They are not hurting me, infact I say hi to them often, sounds mad doesn't it, but they were here before me.

I try to be open minded about that stuff, but Ive never experienced anything like it so its hard to understand...but hey, maybe its possible...

I think that we leave a big mess of rotting flesh that smells really bad when we die and nothing else.

Years ago, I bought a house formerly owned by a small time gangster who had it built for his mistress.

He died a violent death, leaving her to mourn for many years....His name was Mickey Duffy....

When I moved into this house, apparently she was still there because she would move furniture around....misplace things for me....and do things that were harmless......I never felt scared...although sometimes she could be very annoying when the doorbell rang and no one was there.

So, yes. I believe in ghosts.

I dont know if id class ghosts, goblins and aliens in the same category unless i was referring to the latest B grade horror film.

I think its perfecly resonable to believe that theres some kind of supernatural unexplainable thing that happens when people die, but I don't think that believeing that also means you believe in aliens ... 2 completely different things

Here's my theory lol...whatever that is. The human body is made up of energy. That energy has to go somewhere when you die. It doesn't just cease to exist. Some of it is transfered into energy in other forms. i.e. plant food, etc. I am sure some of the other energy ends up in other more "unexpected" places...

I like asking random people I meet that question, and it's interesting that I've never gotten a no. I just asked my massage therapist the other day... she started telling me ghost stories.

Personally, I believe in the power of our imaginations.
