Welp, we agree something is wrong. But I do not think its bi-polar. Other stuffs has happend where he did not recognize a webmaster on the phone who does business with him regularly.
We are all concerned for Dokk, but we do not put it past him either that this could be one BIG play out "Fuck you" act too. So he is taking this to the extreme and pretending memory loss of close friends, dunno.
But, there are things that would discount that theory as well.
Some of us think we have it figured out, and if you have the time, you may too.
Anyhoo, its all cause and effect, we know the effects, now figure out the cause.

Well... I don't know Dokk, but I read his posts across the past while over at GFY and then at ANS....
It is extremely hard to catch the context (obviously), but some of the lastest on ANS sound to me like someone who has made a decision of sorts... He is telling several folks how much he loves them, and there is a reference in there to "moving on". I am not a shrink, but have been around to know that when someone has made a decision to end their own life, or take drastic action that they know will either end their life or put them away for a while, they often say their goodbyes, reassure those around themselves as to their love and devotion and then make attempts to put their affairs in order. Very rational in an irrational sort of way.
Dokk is definitely under some kind of pressure or influence. His references to his wife and the gas stove being left on and the bible and how ashamed he is makes me think that he is describing that he just got caught by his wife trying to kill himself with the gas stove... I know that is way out there, but any other way I looked at it did not make any sense.
Hope he is ok... Hope someone gets over there to visit him, call him, something. He sounds like he could use some really good friends right about now.

with easy money gone and people whose life affected by the phenomena not coping well with realities.
Friend of mine was worth 20 million $$$ in real estate before the market went sour in Boston in 1985...
watching him go from 25 employees to ZERO with the only thing he could save was his own house,
was REAL painful.

And Sawnee EMC is going to settle out of court for $50mil? To be honest, I'd be surprised if Sawnee EMC even HAD that kind of money. It's a member owned electric company and in relation to a company like Ga. Power, it only covers a small number of cities.

Well.. she's not quite in jail yet.. because someone claiming to be my wife at this address made an emergency 911 call saying I was suffering from mental problems.
She's had enough already and since the med units and several pd units were here they just had to go around the corner and they're checking them out now.
Still not home yet but my mom's house is around the corner. I only asked 'em to give my wife and daughter a quick check to make sure they're ok. that's all.. so don't feel bad... k? It's all good.

Well, it's been 2 days since Dokk has posted anywhere... after several days of nearly non stop posts....
I've been checking the Georgia news sites, nothing there about anyone in the Lake Lanier area going postal or anything like that... Anyone know if Dokk is ok, or did the guys in the white coats come by, or did some friends come by and whisk him off.....
lol...I don't even know Dokk, except by reputation, but nevertheless I find myself being concerned....

i hope somebody has checked up on him, he sure as hell shouldn't be alone while he's like this

You aim your whole life to be rich and when you make it, you realize everything you did to get there and how many people you hurt and how few are left to share your money. Then when your money goes, the folks you think are your friends are nowhere to be found.

I personally have never had Money as an ultimate goal.... I don't really know what my ultimate goal would be other than to never stop learning and try to get through this life without hurting too many people.. I have already raised 2 kids to adulthood and have 10 years left on the third one, so for now my goal is to get her to adulthood safely.....
Money has always been a means to the end.... best thing I ever learned was
"that there are a lot worse problems that you could be saddled with other than lack of money".

Over on ANS it looks like Magick has been trying to reach him and can't. I'd run over there myself, but I have a HORRIBLE sense of direction and I've only been there twice. Both times he's given me very specific directions and both times I've gotten horrendously lost - I know I could never find it again on my own. Hopefully SOMEONE has gone over there - it looked like John was headed over there, but I haven't seen anything sense.
I know any help to his family will be very much appreciated.
I’m sure he will repay anyone who he might owe money to upon his return by fulfilling any advertising commitments.
