Famed internet [adult] attorney David Wasserman ex partner of Larry Walters was arrested 11PM last night in his apartment by police [Central Fla]

Wasserman was free speech, attended many adult webmster trade shows and spoke on may panels for webmasters.

He set up growing marijuanna farms with paraphenalia, and a tip led police to this raid of his home. Some plants were 2 foot high.

He bonded out this morning 7AM on 3K bond, and has been arrested for a felony.

He also was dis-barred according to the news for not paying some fee's of some sort.

Lee I guess you missed JMM's post earlier this morning.

This is crazy.... Anyone who had him do work for them should look into this.

Famed first ammendment attorney, David Wasserman, ex partner of Larry Walters, busted last week for brewing "chronic" was hospitalized last night after attempted suicide attempt [took pills].

He is expected to make a full recovery. His daughter found him in time.

Yes, he was my attorney with the Zmaster suit, and he handled it poorly. I was contacted my the courts as my suit was thrown out due to no action.

Funny thing I was just going to contact him and ask him why he fucked me up so bad on a slam dunk case.

Guess, he fell into the dark side, something drove him away from his career, and its hard to believe its just some "chronic"....there has to be more to this story....

He obviously was cash strapped but the question is "why?"

Lee,

Can we just make a side note here that the ZMASTER suit had nothing to do with the NEW ZMASTER. Just in case some new people don't know how wonderful we are...we don't want to give them the wrong impression.

Absolutely Shannon, great point! Zmaster [Lee Noga founder in 1995] sold to Bonnie Murphy in 1999 and we filed suit Sept 1999. She sold the company under heavy litigation to Shannon with contracts signed with Bonnie to settle with me.

The current owners of Zmaster are legitimate and wonderful. I have never had a greviance with Shannon or her colleagues the current owners.

This is old news, and Bonnie and I have managed to work out a settlement in the last 90 days.

Zmaster has changed hands twice since I sold, and you can trust the new owners 1000% :-))

this industry is worse than a jackie collins book

oprano was once a simple place, about tits and ass ...

but in 2003 something changed ...

along came

* secret las vegas wedding
* rock star management
* high profile lawyer arrested and attempted suicide
* more women on oprano than men
* heqdvd, a bigger moron than confucy

stay tuned!

So CJ....all in all - what do you think?

Is it better in 2003? or worse? I've been "reading you" for a long time on the boards for years...would love to see what you think about Oprano's evolution. Am I missing out much on the "old Oprano" by coming in so late - or was this good timing?

>>So CJ....all in all - what do you think?

can i reserve overall judgement of industry changes for 3 months? i am unsure if current industry developments are good or bad. <_<

but as for oprano, you are never too late to join in here ... i have no doubt that if there is a solution to the industry's negative situations, it will happen around here somewhere ;-)

Hmmmmm...looking @ that last pic Serge, more women might not be a bad thing. lol Perhaps we'll add some spice instead of just mellowing things as expected.

Thanks for the honest answers CJ - yeah I know what you mean about waiting 3 months to comment on the industry. Lots of stuff going on everywhere that will affect us all. It will be interesting to see what's next.

...and I agree about Oprano - I see many good things coming from here...

One thing about Oprano women, they are all accomplished in the industry and smart as can be....

Definately not board whores....

Luckily Serge and I are not intimidated by the fairer sex, even when they are obviously smarter then us!
